About 10 kms away from Ludhiana, the gurudwara is a wonderful example of the religious harmony which is missing in contemporary period. The gurudwara is the holy place where the Muslim devotees Nabi Khan and Ghani Khan provided a layer of protection to Guru Gobind Singh during the battle. The auspicious tank has a story behind it. It is said that an arrow was shot into the dry land to pierce a sub-terrain stream of water. In the month of December a fair is held every year.
It is located in the north-west of Ludhiana. Also known as Abdul Kadir Galani, this auspicious place attracts both Hindu and Muslim pilgrims.
Located on the outskirts of the city, the Punjab Agriculture University was set up in 1962. The University is a replica of the Land Grant of America. The Rural Museum housing local arts, crafts and ancient objects is a must visit place. The Kisan Mela organized by the University is another attraction. There are plenty of items like farming equipments, old bronze utensils on display.
About 35 kms from the city, this Gurudwara is located in village Machhiwara. This place is significant for one reason as the revered Sri Guru Gobind Singh had taken rest during the famous guerrilla war against the powerful Mughlas.
Situated at a distance of 38 km from Ludhiana, Gurudwara Nanaksar Jargaon is the memoir of the the revered Sikh Saint, Baba Nand Singh Kaleranwale. Devotees visit in large numbers to see the five days long fair held in the month of August every year.
